Green gas is the original airsoft propellant, and is made of a mixture of propane and a minuscule amount of silicone oil. It is quite long-lasting, and will usually give you somewhere between 1,500 and 2,000 shots per bottle.
Can you leave gas in an airsoft gun?
It is recommended that when storing green gas airsoft magazines for periods of time that you leave a little bit of gas in the magazine, in order to keep the seals lubricated and prevent dust and dirt from getting inside the magazine.
