What is QC plan?

What is quality inspection plan?
An inspection plan contains inspection elements that represent the specific data that you want to collect and report on. It also contains information about when and how often you collect that data.
Why is quality planning needed?
In quality planning, the project manager defines and codifies the standards the project will be required to meet to be successful, and how those standards will be achieved and confirmed. Without strong quality planning, a project carries an increased risk that the client won’t be satisfied with the results.
