Why do we have to entrust your life to God?

God knows everything we are going through at this very moment and everything we will go through in the future. He knows the best way to handle every situation so we get the best possible outcome and we need to trust him with that. We need to follow his path and trust that he knows best, because he does.

Why do we need to commit our plans to God?

He will “bring about/cause to happen” our plans. We can expect God to bring our works to fruition in God’s way and in God’s timing when we depend on Him in our efforts or what we do. We have to seek and follow God’s will not our own will. When our will aligns with God’s will, then success will follow.

What does the Bible say about committing your plans to God?

Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. The LORD works out everything for his own ends– even the wicked for a day of disaster. The LORD detests all the proud of heart. Be sure of this: They will not go unpunished.

How do you have faith and entrust yourself to the LORD?

-Proverbs 3:5-6 “Delight yourself in the LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him, and he will act.”

What does it mean to trust in the Lord?

A God who does care, even when it sometimes feels like He doesn’t. Trusting in God means that whatever we suffer, in the end, can be used for our — all of our — ultimate good.

Why is it hard to trust God?

One reason that we may struggle is that we are looking and focusing on our current situation and not on God’s promises. Another reason that we struggle to trust the Lord is that we still remember going through difficult times. It’s because God is upholding you. He is been by your side.

What does it mean for God to establish you?

God is able to establish you—to get you to the place spiritually where your walk with Him cannot be shaken, where the testing of your faith will only make it stronger—to place you securely and permanently in a position of faith, a situation of blessing, and a condition of peace.

What does it mean we can make our plans but the Lord determines our steps?

Today’s daily verse spoke to me — “We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps.” (Proverbs 16:9). It just reaffirmed that God is in control here, and that whatever my plans may be, ultimately God’s will for me will happen.

What God says about making plans?

We should make plans, but those plans should be made through counsel with God. The only way to ensure the success of our plans is to test them with the desires of God’s heart. The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.

How do I commit my plans to the Lord?

We still make our plans by praying for guidance, but must then remember to commit our actions in executing those plans to the Lord. Commit means to put God in charge and entrust to Him our actions. The NIV version says Commit to the Lord whatever you do.

What does God say about trusting others?

When we think about the idea of “trust,” many think about how much they trust the people around them on Earth. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

What does the Bible say about entrusting ourselves to God?

As Jesus entrusted Himself to God, we should strive to do the same. Peter tells believers how to handle injustice toward themselves, particularly when injustice comes as a result of their faith in Jesus. Peter repeats the idea of entrusting ourselves to God later in the same letter.

Why do we need to trust in God?

The answer is trials—God’s most used tool. Think about the stories from the Bible of people God used. He entrusted Job, Joseph, Daniel, Moses, David, Isaiah, Paul and many others with major trials. Most of the people we remember faced great trials.

Why is it important to follow God wherever he leads?

If you have the courage to follow God wherever he leads, these perspectives will be more than head knowledge. They will embed themselves deep in your heart because at times you will cling to them like a drowning sailor clings to a life raft. Storms will come, but these truths will keep you afloat.
